I never tried to register at Yahoo, bad experience with some other service. Explored though! And read a lot between the lines and stayed away!
As for myself, I have 23 domains at
www.name.com. A first year com/net/org is under $6 and info is $2.99 plus free Google Apps. Their control panel is THE coolest one. Support response is under 24 hours though I only required it once for an interrupted transaction. And they only sell names, so you and the control panel and the Google Apps - its a pretty slick playground.
