I have noticed that you put godaddy and 1&1 on the list of top registars. I would aviod them since I have heard of people losing their domain on Godaddy and I know of people who get a lot of bad support from 1&1. I would advise to use NameCheap for a registar or even eNom - domain name, internet services, dns hosting
