Guys..oh guys, I reached yet another web hosting directory today. It seems that there has been an increase trend on this particular section for web hosting. One "weird" thing I noted is that these directories are often displaying link to those established web hosting companies like HostGator, iPower, StartLogic..etc

I wonder if those companies listed in these directories had actually paid for the "feature" listing and keep appearing in the homepage ??:eek:

i suspect many hosting directories are front ends for affiliate links to the hosts.

each successful signup pays out $50-100 depending on the host.

Andrew is probebly right. I don't think there is anything hidden.
