Well, from what I understood it is strictly social networking, not paid posting. It was established by the pay per post people. It is new. I got notification about it from pay per post. Honestly, I'm just learning to use digg. I'm so behind the times.

I think I will give it a shot. I'll let everyone know how it goes. Anyone else going to try it out?
Well, I haven't even been there, but I am a bit curious about the results of it for the people that are trying it. I went into MyLot and it is still working...
You know I tried myLot long ago, but found it to be a waste of my time. I always try out new sites to make money, because I like to blog about them.

I signed up for social spark. It was interesting because they wanted me to register my blog. So, it is social networking for your blog, not just any website you want to submit. So, it would only work to get traffic to your domain if you had a blog established there. Also, it did allow you to register with advertisers to do paid posting on your blog. It seems like a combination of the old payperpost website with social networking included.

Then, what are all those pages with dollar signs for? I was under the impression that there were some gigs listed on the site.
Not crazy about this site but it does open the discussion of what makes a good social networking site work in this day and age since they are popping up all over. Any thoughts?
I just went in, and it took forever to load. I didn't like it on first impression. So I am still not deciding about it. Besides, my blog is very much for a specific audience...
I'm deciding against this one after checking out the site even further. Like berlinlife said, the site takes ages to load and doesn't look all that great. I could see some people enjoying the service but I wouldn't recommend it personally.

I have decided against it too, for much the same reasons. I looked at the site and I didn't really like the look of it, I don't think it is worth wasting my time on it.
Yes, that does seem to be the going opinion. I'm not sure about the slow loading responses though, because it wasn't slow for me. I just assume everyone has DSL these days. As far as the site being big, I have no doubt it will be just because it is from the same people that created pay per post, which is huge.

But, I also agree with what was said about "social networking" being a poor way to market a website or blog. Marketing is best done to a group that shares your interest instead of the general public.
