the season For the first time in four seasons the Chicago Bears avoided an 0-2 start on Monday night with a dominant 24-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks. While the score doesn’t reflect just how impressive the team’s defense looked throughout the game http://www.bearsfootballauthentics.com/a...-authentic , a win is a win. For the second straight week the Bears jumped out to a lead and led the entire game, even the last two and a half minutes of the game this time around.Offensively, there are still some concerns especially regarding quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, but all-in-all, this was a win the Bears had to have and they got it done. There were plenty of standouts last night but let’s highlight the best player on each side of the ball in this week’s game ball session.WR Allen RobinsonPatrick Gorski-USA TODAY SportsThe offense once again came out of the gate and marched down the field for a touchdown on their opening drive. Despite Trubisky’s erratic accuracy, the one constant he had throughout the entire game was Robinson. The 25-year-old is fresh off a three year, $42 million deal with the team back in March, and so far he’s living up to expectations, even if he hasn’t seen the end zone.On Monday night, Robinson had 10 catches for 83 yards, including multiple first down catches that truly helped his young quarterback. His 6’3” frame, along with his steady hands will prove to be a big value moving forward and cannot be understated while this new offense looks to gain traction over the course of the year. Robinson lined up all over the field both outside and in the slot.As the offense continues to progress, keep an eye on Robinson’s growth within the offense, too. He’s just one year removed from an ACL tear suffered in Week 1 of last year.Right now, Robinson is on pace for 112 receptions for 1,152 yards and make no mistake Youth Roquan Smith Jersey , the touchdowns will come as the offense settles in over the next few weeks.ILB Danny TrevathanMike DiNovo-USA TODAY SportsOn a unit where the Bears have both Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks, Trevathan was the player that stood out on what appears to be an elite defense.Trevathan’s impact was felt in multiple ways Monday night but none more than his two sacks, one of which was a strip sack of Russell Wilson that ultimately ended the Seahawks comeback hopes. The 28-year-old finished the game with 8 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 quarterback hits, a forced fumble and a tackle-for-loss. On a unit that finished the game with six total sacks, this was still the most impressive performance of the night.Trevathan’s value goes beyond his numbers. Post game when being interviewed by ESPN, Hicks snuck in on the interview and confirmed that Trevathan is the “leader” on the defensive side of the ball. He’s the player that gets everybody lined up and takes the play calls through the headset.Especially with rookie linebacker Roquan Smith next to him, Trevathan’s value is one that may not be seen by the untrained eye on a daily basis. But he’s a player the Bears need to stay healthy if they expect a continual top five product as the season goes on.Honorable Mention: OLB Khalil MackPatrick Gorski-USA TODAY SportsFor the second straight week, Mack was nearly unstoppable. While he finished the game with *only* a sack, tackle-for-loss and a single quarterback hit, his five tackles and overall pursuit of the quarterback led to two different sacks. As I highlighted last week, Mack’s value isn’t always going to come in the way of numbers within the box score. A player to his level creates multiple opportunities for his teammates and that showed once again last night.Prime example: Eddie Goldman’s sack of Russell Wilson in the second quarter last night. If it wasn’t for Mack collapsing the pocket and pushing Wilson up into the pocket, Goldman doesn’t get the sack, despite tremendous inside pressure. It may sound somewhat crazy but I’m starting to wonder if $23.5 million per year is even enough for a guy like Mack. His value to this defense unit has been otherworldly for the first two weeks of this season. The Bear’s Den, July 30 Youth Eddie Goldman Jersey , 2018 BEAR DOWN, CHICAGO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!!!!BEARRRSSSS / DRAFT / FREE AGENCYZeglinski: Roquan v.
