Has anyone here used hosting from GoDaddy? I remember using it way back when I first started and I had a really bad experience with their customer service when I had a lot of downtime, they were not very helpful at all when it came to my hosting going down and I found that I would be waiting a while before my hosting would even come back.
I hear now they are not as bad but has anyone else had any experience recently with hosting from GoDaddy?
I recommend you stay away from it as I heard only bad things about it. It seems like they are a great domain host but other than that it's below average.

I did wonder as we are talking nearly 10 years ago now since I used them for hosting and they were bad then for that. Knowing they have never really got any better in those 10 years I guess shows they never will do in terms of hosting which is a shame.
Used GoDaddy once for hosting and it was a mistake. It seems a lot of what you said they were like all those years ago is still the main problem.
I couldn't wait to get rid of them when I was with them purely because the uptime was awful. I only use now for domain purposes.
