Default How much do you pay for domains?

I used to pay full retail at GoDaddy which is over $9.00 or so I think. I just did a spreadsheet analysis though, and over the last 6 months, on new domains I have paid $6.98 per average on registration.

So how much are you paying to register your domains?

Since I pretty much stick to Godaddy, it's the same. Every time I look around, I'm tempted but leary of transfer fees and customer serivce issues, so I just stick with them.

Deelip, if you can register one with namepros, i dont see why you cant register one with GoDaddy. Like Domain Social, Namepros uses paypal to buy their currency. Godaddy also uses Paypal. And yes... Namepros is expensive.

I'm another GoDaddy loyalist. I went with them when they were having special pricing and have stayed with them because of price and service.

You know that godaddy needs verified paypal id for domain registration but i dont have "verified". That why i cant register on godaddy.

$10 does seem a bit steep. I didn't realize the verified thing with GoDaddy but I saw it mentioned somewhere else earlier today as well.

Is there a reason why you can't get verified?

However, did anyone here ever bought a website from someone because you wanted it, and how much did those end up costing you :\ ?

I have never bought a domain from anyone else; I have only created my own and gone that route.
