Question Internationsl Domain question

Hi

Long time reader, first time poster

I have seen various threads about the difference in values from .com to .net etc But what is the likely value difference of country specific domains, e.g. .co.uk or .com.au etc

Also, if you wanted to go down the route of purchasing these, where is the best place to park or sell these?

I have a few .com's with GoDaddy but they dont support anything beyond the main domain prefix's.

Thanks for any responses.

Jon

Hi Jon! Welcome to the forum. I am no expert, but I know that in some cases, when you want to buy foreign domains, there are some requirements before registering, like citizenship or other requirements from the business point of view.

I don't think there are different requirements for .co.uk. For .ca you need a resident contact.

There are alot of country codes on SEDO but I am starting to hate them.
I see up for auction .de and .eu I think, but I also saw last week movieswag.com? and f-o-o-d.com? I submitted for auction interiorblind.com and employnurses.com and they rejected for quality????? I think that with sedo and some other brokers you have to be a high roller buyer to get your stuff listed for sale also, I think a bunch of stuff is not right and alot of these big companies are making serious errors, I have a friend who just bought at sedo and has been waiting three weeks for his name
