Default Haven't Registrars put themselves in a postion of conflict of interest?

Isn't it a conflict of interest to be a Registrar and actively grabbing domains that are expiring for your own portfolio?

I suppose that yes, there is a conflict of interest. Most legit registrars probably wouldn't do it, but some certainly do.
