I have to agree that without true passion for what you are doing you cannot effectively develop a successful "niche". Everything I have pursued that went against my core I have only performed moderately well at. The most successful people I know are wild about their business.

I agree. I think being wild about your business is the foundation for success. What happens after that is up to the individual, of course, but I expect few people build successful businesses that they hate.

I have a couple of niche sites which I am personally interested it. The sites are not making much but its okay. Maintaining and developing the sites doesn’t seem to be work to me anyway.

However, I really want to earn money (like most normal people. Heehee). I’ll find a niche…even the ones I hate.
