Default Escrow Service?

Hi it's me again! Ok, although I have yet to really succeed in selling domain for a good nice price, I heard that it woul dbe advisable to engage an Escrow Service if the amount get large. This is to protect both the seller and buyer from potential fraud and scam.

So, anyone has experience in using Escrow Service while selling or buying domain? or you would just prefer direct dealing based on trust?

I use escrow when the amount exceeds $1500. I think that it is generally the best method for exchanging anything (including domains) at high prices. There have been some scams pulled off even with escrow, but if you insist with their support, I would imagine that things should go well!

I prefer moniker over escrow.com but I would never use any no-name escrow service as those are almost always scams.
