Default Funky Internet

Is anyone having trouble with the internet not loading some pages. One minute it loads them and then an hour later it won't load the same page. It has been like this off and on for two days. I called our provider and they said it was nothing on their end but that there was some problems going on with the internet on the east coast. Has anyone else heard this. Just curious? Thanks

Nope, no problems here. But then maybe I got lucky and missed them (for a change). Has it cleared up for you?

When I start seeing things like that I do a disk clean up, and a couple of scans just to be sure things are alright with my machine. I don't think we had any problems here, but Comcast did go down a couple of times during the last 72 hours. Hard to tell why that was going on.

I'm in Toronto and I wasn't aware of a problem with the Internet, but come to think of it yesterday one site I was going to took a long time to try to load, but then couldn't.

It was alright about an hour later.

Taggart,
Hey is it true that the entire city is a Wi-Fi hotspot? I read that someplace and was curious.

Now it is working fine. It just started loading pages that I was having trouble with about an hour ago. It was becoming rather frustrating. Thanks all.

No problem. I get that every now and then and wonder if it's me, my ISP or the site itself. It bugs me too when it happens!

I am beginning to think it was my ISP because it was also happening to my parents who have the same one. My parents called to ask them if it was on their end and the first two times they said no. And after the third call to ask them about this they finally said that they would check into it and two hours after that call it was running.

It must be the provider source problem . To be sure you should clear you cache and your history. Do an spyware scam and defrag.

Hi ACCER. I haven't checked it out, but I think it's pretty much available all over the city.

Come to think of it, I remember someone else talking about that. I haven't taken my laptop out of the house much.
