p.s. You probably won't make too much money with parking a domain either. It's best to develop it or buy a domain that already has traffic...

Just out of curiosity, would someone have any trouble parking a "typo" domain that's related to adult sites, because of the association with the adult market?

I guess the problem would be depending on where you park the domain with the typo for the porn site. I'm sure there are parking services for that kind of domains.

This sounds like a pretty specific "niche" to me.

I guess the idea is to make significant money on little development effort and the creative aspect is pretty much just coming up with the typos.

I think you can be successful parking or developing typo domains but not just within the porn industry. There are a lot of other highly traffic niche sites to get into as well -- think of online poker and so forth. Those are widely trafficked sites as well.

I would imagine that some site owners might pay something decent, and some would give you the finger! There's a typo I want to register, but it doesn't have a niche! But I have a development idea for it. ?????
