Have you ever checked out sites like this: http://freesitetemplates.com/
I have used templates from Word in the past, years ago, and more recently I used the templates available on the blog sites themselves.

If you google it, I'm sure you can find thousands of places that offer free templates, so you don't have to pay for them... good luck!
