registrar's site is down! - annerz - 11-07-2007

need help! my domain registrar's site is down.
and i have to change my domain's nameservers!
company: eweb.com.ph
they purchase their domains through: publicdomainregistry.com

any chance that publicdomainregistry has a universal domain control panel like manage.opensrs.net of tucows?

i've contacted both parties, but no luck.

How long has it been down? It could be that they are doing some maintenance or are having unexpected server issues.

^ 2-3 days. but they're up now. thank God!
although... not all of the site's features are working well.
i guess i'll just have to wait for them to patch things up.

I am so happy that things have returned to normal. I can only imagine the complications that might have developed if they had been offline for much longer!

it's up now. but goodness! i still cant change my nameservers!
nameserver1: empty fieldtext
nameserver2: empty fieldtext
no matter how i click on the save settings button, nameserver fields still go empty.

i'll be transferring my domain to another registrar, i swear!

Sounds like a good idea! They should be contacting people to explain what is going on. It's almost as bad as having your electricity or water not working and no one explaining what the problem is or when it will be fixed for good!

no warnings of any sort. and their site is down again.
no e-mails, no tickets.
im getting pissed off.

You're dealing with a registrar's reseller. PDR is the registrar while eWeb is
one of their resellers it seems.

Their site's showing on my browser, although it took about a minute to fully
load up. If it's that mission-critical, try calling their number +63916-3647096.

^ yeah. they are just resellers.
thanks for clearing the terms out.
im planning to just transfer the domain to another registrar.
thank you all! Smile
