I am surprised that more people are not talking about .pro domains.
Why is this?
What are the disadvantages of this domain other than having to be accredited in the profession.
Is there a downside to these domains like they are not being indexed by google?

I think main reason is that it cost too much to register.
In order to make any extensions successful, it must be embraced by domainers.
.PRO just cost too much to register in bulk.
Plus, not many people know .pro even exists except domainers.
