Selling a Domain name - harpeagle - 07-14-2008 Hello, There i was wondering about appraisals i used nameboy do you guys in general use those to price your domain names or is it just a guideline coming from a realestate background i would think domain names are much like a house my father always used to say a house is worth what someone is willing to pay for it ,so ask for the highest it can bear The bottom line question is my domain name appraised at around $5,000 which i think is high for just a name but i am new at this should i start at a price like that? Thanks In Advance Selling a Domain name - Ardoris - 07-15-2008 Without knowing your domain name, I can't say much. However, Nameboy tend to give real high appraisals. Your father is right and it's same for domain name. Price for domain is established between buyer and seller. Good way to guesstimate domain value is by comparing similar domains sold before. http://dnsaleprices.com/ http://namebio.com/ Selling a Domain name - harpeagle - 07-16-2008 Thanks for answering i to though was a little high the domain name is berichvideo.com naturally i think it is a good name but still thought appraisil was bit high |
