dns server does not recognize a domain name - Rayancaleb - 04-11-2018 Hi, I have been unable to access my library's website. I get a message that the dns server may be down of that the dns server does not recognize the domain name. The web site in question is hosted by Brighthouse, Orlando. My internet service is ATT Uverse high speed internet. Neither company will admit to owning the problem!!! Who owns the server and is responsible for problems with it? This is very frustrating because the library is probably the website I use most. I have no problem accessing any other website? Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
