GoDaddy offers $1.99 domain registration if you buy another of their services, yes. I've been using them for my domain registrations for several years and like them.

it bascially comes down to the pricing at the end of the day. but what triumph said is so true and has happened to me before. I always use separate companies. infact i currently have a client where i have registered with one company, host the website with a second and the mail service is provided by a third. well no real reason for that but thats how the client wanted it. he is king after all LOL

We separate - but that's at least partly because we host our own Big Grin We use SimpleURL as our registrar. I know they also do hosting, but I'm not sure what their rates are.
