Some advice please on .us domains - Wile7 - 02-21-2009 I have dabbled in a few weird (and possibly silly:p ) .us domain names and was wondering what they might be worth (as a rough guide). I am not anxious to sell but would appreciate any honest and frank thoughts/advice from seasoned campaigners on the following please: Exod.us.com Airb.us.com Nitro.us.com Many thanks for any thoughts offered. Dave Some advice please on .us domains - Wile7 - 02-24-2009 Please - can someone advise? Some advice please on .us domains - Ken - 02-24-2009 You mean .us.com? (not .us) Not quite sure of .us.com but Nitro.us is a good domain. Exod.us could be a cool name for a "Web 2.0 start up". I could already see the headlines on TechCrunch: "Exod.us raises $12 million to port your data from Hotmail to Gmail". Not quite sure of .us.com though. Some advice please on .us domains - Wile7 - 03-03-2009 Many thanks Ken. Some advice please on .us domains - mikestenger - 03-19-2009 .us.com would not be nearly as valuable as .us but if you can find something that goes together like what Ken says but with the .com after it, you could do some good with it. Some advice please on .us domains - DomainAuctionsScript - 04-11-2009 I have a couple .us.com domains myself including beef.us.com and fuel.us.com - I think the extension has a good future. I would stick to major keywords though that could rate to the extension if I were you. |
