Wow, that is a horrible experience, and even though things were somewhat resolved in the end, it probably left a bad taste in your mouth. For me, one bad encounter forces me to take my business elsewhere!

I am that way in my dealings. I had a bad experience with company that I had a contract with, and they didn't keep up their end of it. I lost a bunch of money and was furious. I would never do business with them again.

BTW They are not a domain registrar. They are only a reseller.
