Well, if you need 40 gbs of HD, I believe vps hosting solution will serve your demands.
As for professional and reliable hosting provider, can recommend m3server.com pro vps hosting (It is hybrid of VPS and dedicated) deals.

PROMO CODE: M3HOST75OFF - It is good for 75% off first month on VPS, Dedicated, M3 CDN products.

As you may know, the truth comes out of comparison, so I'd recommend you to check out:
1) http://rackspace.com
2) http://solvps.com
3) http://hostwinds.com
They are optimized for application hosting and provide more security, reliability and speed than traditional web hosts.

You can rely on http://kvchosting.net
Must say that their web hosting service provided is excellent, including software provided, and personal customer support.
I frequently ask questions of their support staff on all different topics and they are always patient and helpful.

Why not to give superbithost.com a try?

Overall, a very good host who looks on the fun side apart from what they do.
You can make your own backups too and retrieve a file which you've accidently overwritten or deleted from the directory. I LOVE IT!
