Default Leaving Yahoo

Is there any way to take the messages from my business mail account with me when I leave yahoo? If no, how would you recommend backing them up, beyond forwarding them to a new address (I have tons)?

Thanks!

Why dont you set up an account specifically for forwarding all of your email for safe keeping into another box. You can atleast sort through them better and keep them safe and do it at your own time without worrying about the shutdown of the yahoo account preventing you from accessing them.

I wonder if forwarding them to the new address would be better.

I would forward them to another address. Like the above poster stated then you can have time to go through them and keep the ones you really need to keep.
