Agent Orange, though stated that she did not watch porn but wants to promote it..to me it's a contradiction!
Like it or not, every study done in marketing, shows that SEX sells! That SEX makes money, lots of it! If given the choice between to exact products, with the same price range, with the same exact features and usage, but advertised under different perspectives, one being more into sex appeal, and the other one into being safe, bet your money that the one that uses sex for advertising, will be the one people choose, even if they would not admit to it... But the sales tickes will show that SEX sells a lot more. So, that is why on the internet is something that people will look into too.
Many will just register those domains under another name. Most people I know have that "secret e-mail identity" to just explore safely the internet, without any of their friends or partners finding out...
there's nothing with it. Personally I do enjoy pornography, I think it is a healthy option to explore. But I wouldn't have a website about it because I don't like it to be used by some pedofile! But I would definetly enjoy producing a film or even writing about it... on those "medias" I would have more control than on the internet!
A person can have a porn site and have full control of who and what goes on it also. Its interesting how our view of porn changes over time. Years ago the tv shows of today would be considered porn.

You are completely right! We have evolved and see things under a different perspective. And precisely because we changed as a society and the Internet has become the favorite media marketing for pornography, and therefore so hard to attack as other medias were before, I think many more people have now the oportunity to explore pornography as a business without having to be called inmoral and other names in public! The anonimity provided by the internet, makes it a perfect place to develop so many other ways to make money. I am sure many housewives are assuming the roll of Larry Flint on the internet and will never get caught and will never be called names wherever they go, and much less, be shot at just because they decided to be part of the porn industry.
I have an adult hosting blog that I am using from thumbblogger. I want to get my own adult domain eventually as it seem like surfers have more respect if your site is a pay domain.
