Hey I don't worry about people finding me if I use a P. O. Box. They can contact me and maybe even talk me into selling something I've got that way. It takes the legwork out of it kind of. If it's my personal site though, I go anon just to avoid the people who send out the "you should use us to renew" letters. They make them look so official, you have to sit and think . . . Did I contact this registrar?

That makes sense. I suppose if you are going to sell a domain anyway, having the right contact information is a good idea.

i never like to display my private record. So i always prefer to have private registration. I get free contact privacy on domain registration from WhoisXY.com at low cost.
