what is the difference between Organic and paid results?
#7
While organic search focuses on unpaid rankings in search results, the paid search focuses on paid rankings. Companies use organic search to improve their site's visibility or rankings in search results. Paid search, on the other hand, allows users to pay for a prominent spot in search results.

The organic rank of a website is free every month. The main expense is the time and effort required to achieve that ranking.

Paid search is based on a pay-per-click model. Paid search is a type of contextual advertising in which site owners pay a fee to have their site appear on the first page of search engine results.
