  Ebay Readymade Sites whatcha think?
Posted by: sharwood - 08-10-2007, 01:58 AM - Forum: Domain Discussion - Replies (15)

I've noticed a couple of readymade sites on ebay. They come complete with domain and content that people pay for (legal forms, ebooks, etc.) Have any of you tried any of these sites? Does anybody have any opinions on this type of thing? I'm new to domaining, and I've been reading nonstop for the past 6 or 7 days whenever I've had free time and at night. I'm looking for an easy way to start generating revenue. Ebay readymade sites a good start?

The sites also include other types of sites such as gaming blogs etc. that automatically update with new news stories.

I'm just looking for opinions before I go blow a hundred dollars.

Thanks!

  Anyone get burned by Registerfly.com
Posted by: millzee11 - 08-09-2007, 03:31 PM - Forum: Domain Companies - Replies (10)

I used to use them for all my domains, but then the service started to really go down hill, and I heard about the problems with them, so I moved all my domains to godaddy before anything bad happened, but with one or two domains they would not let me move them at first.

  .info parking advice
Posted by: proson - 08-09-2007, 12:33 PM - Forum: Domain Discussion - Replies (1)

hi all,

I've got a question that about .info domain parking. I've tried to park with sedo, with my .info domain, I ahve url redirect (mask) the domain to sedo parking but sedo keep saying couldn't verify the domain.

Is it because sedo does not support .info or it does not support URL mask redirect?

If sedo does not support .info domain, where is the best place to park .info domain?

2.) Does anyone try using eNom club drop before ? any success rate to find a premium domain?

thank you

Smile

  Very Newbie question.

Okay, I joined Sedo and had a long look around. But no matter how many FAQ I read I couldn't find the answer to a simple question.

I thought about putting a name up for sell. If I get a lowball bid and no one else bids do I have to take it? Or can you set a min. price?

Thanks sorry, I really tried to find the answer on my own.

  General Lee As A Honda?
Posted by: Taggart - 08-08-2007, 11:07 AM - Forum: The Lounge - Replies (4)

Here's a picture of what the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard might have looked like if it was a Honda instead of a 1969 Dodge Charger:

Maybe some people have too much time on their hands? Wink
